Another 5 days. Another 5 chapters. Things are getting interesting in the story, slowly making progress along the first portion of the book. I am starting to worry that I'm dragging the story a little more than it needs it, but the main focus on the first few chapters is on Maya's mental health. That's always a slow process. Fortunately, things are starting to heat up as she gets closer to her big breakthrough.
Just in time for her biggest setback.
In other news, the Publisher's Desk saw some action yesterday. In case you didn't notice, we have a new book cover. I've been told it's just a work in progress (Publisher: Yes, just a work in progress. I don't know how I like it just yet.) But I'm starting to like it. The lettering is a callback to The Mind's Door, while focusing on the blue color scheme of the rest of the cover. Let me know what you think of it.
Also, for those of you that have subscribed, we've sent out our first newsletter. The Webmaster didn't like the interface of the email marketing tools that came with the site, so she's going to be playing around with that a bit later. It would be nice to have the old newsletters visible on the site itself. Anyway, so much to do when you have all the hats.
