Girl wakes up dead, stuck within a certain range of where she is killed. She tries to get people to notice her, but only one person can see her. They don't know each other, but the person is alive and van only see her. There are other ghosts, stuck within their own areas, some that overlap but most that don't. The girl is trying to figure out how she died, while falling in love with the one girl that can see her. In the end, it's revealed that her mother killed her because she was gay.
